Natalie Ball - An Artist Who Speaks Through Her Work

For this weeks #SICRealLife feature, we are featuring Modc, Klamath and Black artist Natalie Ball. After receiving a masters from the Massey University in New Zealand, Ms. Ball moved back to her ancestral native land and has continued her prosperous career. Her artwork has been shown in art galleries across the globe including the Vancouver Art Gallery in BC.

While her peace “When I Go Missing, Rattle,” has its own intended story that we are not to tell, it was truly touching as it reminded us of the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women in North America. A movement that is raising awareness for justice for the continuous number of missing and murdered Indigenous women across Canada and the United States.

Check out her site www.natalieball.com to learn more about her amazing work.
